Marat Shemiunov (Dancer)
Born in Leningrad, he graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy in 2001 and the same year joined the Mikhailovsky Ballet.
His repertoire includes principal and solo roles in classical and contemporary ballets, such as Swan Lake, La Bayadère, Cipollino, Don Quixote, Laurencia, The Flames of Paris and productions by Nacho Duato The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Prelude, Duende, White Darkness, Na Floresta, and Multiplicity.
