Marlon Titre (Guitar)
Marlon Titre studied guitar and composition at the Royal Conservatory in the Hague, the Netherlands. During his studies he received guitar lessons by Zoran Dukic, Enno Voorhorst and Ocker Toetenel, and lessons in compostition by Roderik de Man and Martijn Padding. In 2004 he graduated from the Conservatory with honours. Marlon also followed master-classes with Pavel Steidl, Carlo Marchione, David Russell and Dusan Bogdanovic.
Marlon is a prize-winner of international guitar competitions in the Netherlands, Croatia, Austria, and Spain.
In 2005 he won the First Prize of the 38th International Competition for Classical Guitar «Michele Pittaluga» in Italy.
In the past years Marlon has given a number of guitar recitals in the Netherlands, Germany, Aruba, Curacao, Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Slovakia. He has performed in radio programs and accompanied H.R.H. the Dutch Princess Christina in her television concert.
Marlon is also successful as a composer. His pieces have been performed by various orchestras and ensembles and broadcasted on radio and television.
At present Marlon is a teacher at the preparatory class of the Royal Conservatory in the Hague, and is continuing his studies for Master degree with Zoran Dukic.
