Roberto Aronica (Tenor)
Born in Civitavecchia – Rome -, he studied under Carlo Bergonzi’s guidance
and he perfected himself at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena.
Since his debut in RIGOLETTO, at Teatro Municipale in Santiago de Chile, he
has been hosted by the most renowned world opera houses such as La Scala, Maggio
Musicale Fiorentino, the Teatro dell’Opera of Rome, the Vienna Staatsoper,
Zurich Opernhaus, Berlin Deutsche Oper, Bayerische Staatsoper, Royal Opera House
of London, Paris Opйra Bastille, Metropolitan of New York, Lyric Opera of
Chicago, the San Francisco and Los Angeles Opera and the Japan Opera Foundation
of Tokyo.
He has also significantly collaborated with orchestra conductors such as
Semyon Bychkov, James Conlon, Daniele Gatti, James Levine and Christian
Thielemann.
Particularly worth of mention during 2009 is RIGOLETTO in Bologna, MADAMA
BUTTERFLY at Munich Staatsoper, UN BALLO IN MASCHERA at the Royal Opera House in
London, LA TRAVIATA in Berlin and DON CARLOS in Bilbao.
The highlights concerning next seasons are LUISA MILLER in Salerno, TOSCA in
Berlin and Copenaghen, NORMA in Zurich, ERNANI in Bologna, LA BOHИME and MADAMA
BUTTERFLY at Liceu in Barcelona.
